Gold standard for Ames-area small business. Long-time owner, friendly, knowledgeable. We have purchased all our dog food, grass seed, and lawn care products here. They have helped us tackle the tough stuff, like getting rid of Creeping Charlie. 5/5!

Brekke's was recommended to me by a friend almost 10 years ago. I haven't purchased my grass seed from anyone else since then. Whenever someone compliments us about our lawn, I'm sure to recommend, Brekke's!

When my pets were living, I never bought their food and litter anywhere else. Now I go there for grass seed. This is simply the best store for pet and 'country'-type needs. Simply the best people, too!
